Working as part of the Latin America Forest Team, I
• collected academic and institutional reports, scientific background, trade data, and background information on environmental, agricultural, economic, trade and international aid policy for Honduras.
• Monitored the daily Latin American press and briefed staff on relevant events, scandals, news.
• Transcribed more than 80 hours of audio and video interviews, translated from Spanish to English.
• Conducted interviews with sources, followed up on leads, arranged meetings with sources.
• Strategized with team members and partner organization.
• Established contacts with International Donor Community and various NGO's in Honduras.
• Assisted with production of video news release and short documentary.
• Wrote, edited, proofed and revised portions of the report; provided bibliographical data.
• Coordinated press release, tracked media coverage. (The report launch received wide international and national media attention, with continued coverage for two weeks in Honduras)
