I spent an afternoon with Jack in his studio last spring to interview him for our upcoming Jazz-Rock.com DVD, "Artist's of Imagination." Jack covered the entire spectrum of his career and shared amazing insights about his life and his approach to music.

In November, Downbeat magazine voted Jack, "Drummer of the Year " and his three album releases of 2005 have received critical acclaim. "Music in the key of Om," was nominated for a Grammy award.

Congratulations Jack, on a stellar year and your role as a leader and innovator in the world of music!
